Mixstir drive bearing replacement

Before conducting maintenance, power Mixstir off and disconnect from power source.

Remove bearing.

  1. Unplug Mixstir and remove vessel.
  2. Unscrew the internal blade from the vessel by rotating it counterclockwise.
  3. Use a crescent wrench to unscrew the nut under the vessel from the spindle.
  4. Once removed, the bearing will completely dislodge from the hole at the bottom of the vessel.

Replace with new bearing.

  1. Insert a new drive bearing into the hole, aligning the two flat ends.
  2. Place a washer around the drive bearing, then replace the nut and fasten into place.

Reassemble.

  1. Return the blade to vessel, rotating clockwise into the grooves.
  2. Fit vessel back onto the Mixstir base.
  3. Plug unit in, and test to make sure that it functions as expected.
